About Us
FurCanada,
is a world class Canadian fur manufacturing company since 1999.
We produce premium quality fur blankets, pillows, floor coverings, garments, furniture and fur accessories.
Lynx, Bobcat, Sable, Fox, Wolf, Coyote, Beaver, Mink, Seal and Otter are just a few of the Canadian species that are masterfully transformed into luxurious home decor items.
Our Taxidermy division creates premium class specimens, which can be found in museums around the world including the Qingdao Marine Mammal Museum in China as well as American Hollywood movies.
The mounts have also made their way into homes of esteemed private collectors, world wide. Canadian governments at all levels use our taxidermy specimens for educational purposes.
In 2018, FurCanada successfully completed a large contract to supply coyote fur collars to the uniform division of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP).

This publication is dedicated to my mother Lydia Sommer Kania and my late father Tadeusz Edward Kania (1918-2015), founders of the company. They loved the great outdoors spending their lives, hunting, fur trapping and farming. My father’s passion towards the prevention of cruelty to animals, led him to invent one of the world’s most humane harvesting traps. Today, at 93 years of age, my mother Lydia remains a social activist and a pillar of the community. She is loved by family and friends.
